i discovered Facebook a while back, and have spent a while being quite active there to see what it's like and how it works. more on that later...
i can really recommend this book, available in full online here: A People's History of America. it's pretty good stuff, if you like that sort of thing (which i do)
Oh, well, how good is it that you are back then - I began to think you had gawn for good. I may check out your book but, you know, I'm a bit busy in the garden, sitting in it wondering whether I am finally getting old (64) since I'm so enjoying sitting, picking the beans and tomatoes and making pesto from my millions of little basil plants, and cutting back...oh the never ending, always reoccuring cutting back and fearing the day I may become very very very old and unable to climb the ladder. FACEBOOK ?!! Please, please don't swear at me ! What a dreadful thing is facebook may it die, the whole of it, right now.

thanks - it's nice to be appreciated.
ReplyDeleteFacebook, like most things on the intertubes, is double-edged: it's a snooper's dream but it's great for sharing information. you just have to get the hang of the privacy controls, and to understand how public any shared info might be
